As summer is approaching fast, many of us pencil in the dates for our travel itineraries. Some cities are very popular since they are heavily advertised, so a visit to this place for a couple of social media shoots would be nice.

However, some places fall off the radar and they become a delightful journey for an untrained eye.

1. Split, Croatia

When we think of the Roman glory days, we directly link it to Rome, Italy. However, many glamorous sites of the Roman heyday fall in Croatia.
